  2. Hi Cecilia,

Nice effort towards your presentation on the opera house. I learnt some new information about the opera house that I didn't put on mine. Maybe you should try make a slide for where you got your information from.

  3. Kia ora Cecillia,

I have really enjoyed reading all of the comments that you have posted for students participating in the Summer Learning Journey blogging programme. I would love to also support your learning by posting comments on blog posts that you have written.

Would you consider joining our journey by completing some activities this summer? Blogging will help you to maintain the reading and writing skills that you've developed over the past year. We'd love to help you get ready to for Year 9 and ensure that you'll fully prepared for college to start next month.

If you have time and interest, please hop onto the Summer Learning Journey website (https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/welcome), click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab and choose an activity. There are 60 options to pick from!

I'll check back in a couple of days to see if you've had time to join our journey. I really hope that you will!

    Bye for now,

    Rachel :)

  4. Hi Cecillia,

Kia ora! My name's Dan, and I'm a teacher working alongside Rachel this summer on our Summer Learning Journey. I'm lucky enough to be following the students from Panmure Bridge School through their learning journeys, which means I get to read and comment on all the amazing blogging that goes on. It's super fun, and we get to learn a whole lot of interesting things as well as taking part in lots of different activities about countries all over the world!

Like Rachel, I'd be stoked if you would consider joining the Summer Learning Journey programme these holidays, and have a go at creating your own summer blogs. If you're interested in taking a peek at what it involves, then follow the link Rachel has posted above my comment ^^^

Hope to hear from you soon Cecillia :-) in the meantime enjoy your holidays and Happy New Year!

    Cheers,
    Dan.
